A triclinium (which in Latin means “three benches”) is a chamber for holding banquets, normally in honour of the dead. But these three triclinia, and the one on the other side of the passage, are not related to tombs. They may have been used for banquets for special guests and for the usual 'symposia' meetings. The lower parts of the façades have been washed away by floodwater.
