The façade carved out of the rock with an unadorned chamber inside is probably a temple or chapel. The freestanding columns and the two corner pillars are crowned by Nabataean horn capitals.
On the ground floor there is a kind of cave dwelling with three rooms, possibly for those who were responsible for the ceremonial building and the associated rituals.
