The 39 meters high mausoleum for a Nabatean king was carved deep into the red sandstone rock face, during the 1st century BC.
The urn on top of it is marked by lots of bullet holes from gunshots of Bedouins who believed that it contained a hidden treasure. The full name "Khaznet Fir'aun" means Treasury of the Pharaoh.
