The Archaeological and Anthropological Museum "Dr. Eduado Casanova" is part of the museum complex of the Tilcara University Center, integrated by the Archaeological Museum, the Site Museum: Pucará de Tilcara and the High Altitude Botanical Garden.
Created in 1968 at the initiative of the University of Buenos Aires, it has more than 5,000 pieces from the pre-Hispanic cultures of Northern Argentina and the Altiplano.
