Espacio Odeón: Cultural Center is an independent nonprofit institution dedicated to promote contemporary visual and performing arts. It is located in a building recognized as an architectonic and cultural landmark. In the decade of the 1940s and during the following 50 years, it was home to one of the first movie theaters in the city, and to the Teatro Popular de Bogotá (TPB).
In 2011, after almost 15 years of abandonment, it was rescued by Espacio Odeón: Cultural Center with the objective of supporting and making known innovative projects in the contemporary arts developed for this specific site. In the same year, the first fair of contemporary art Odeón took place there.
