Sep 2012The project "Proposition pour un laboratoire des pratiques artistiques et curatoriales (PLPAC)" came about from the urgent need to create and question curatorial methods and artistic practices, specifically in the context of Morocco. It was initiated by the artists Younes Baba-Ali and Simohammed Fettaka, accompanied by theorists and intervening artists.
Several Moroccan artists have taken part in micro-residencies, others involved have led workshops with the intention of reflecting upon the definition and the function of public space. Some of the works that these artists have created are on view at the Gallery of the French Institute of Rabat from 28 June - 28 October 2012.

As part of the project,Younes Baba-Ali and Simohamed Fettaka curated a selection of Moroccan video art for the international DVD Project of Stichting Idee-fixe (The Netherlands). This selection was premiered at galerie Le Cube on 6 June 2012, and is currently part of the exhibtion at l’Institut français de Rabat.
