Until 2021, there was the possibility to support the project with a so-called "donor plaque". These plaques, one for each year of performance, have been attached to a steel band running around the church.
Many of them describe a specific dedication and reason, such as the 400th birthday of Johann Wolfgang von Goethe in the year 2149, or to commemorate the atomic disasters of Chernobyl and Fukoshima. In some cases, people prefer to perpetuate their own names.
