Bosou with pipe

Concrete, painted
H. 78 cm
Bosou has horns and a bull’s head. He looks like the devil, but he is actually a resolute protector of people. Red is his principal colour. There are several Bosous, in Rada and in Petwo. When Bosou reveals himself in a trance, he is enormously powerful. Bosou hits out with his forehead like a bull. When he wishes to show that a particular person enjoys his protection or his attention, Bosou approaches slowly and gently butts his forehead against theirs.
