The artist recreates the Great Zab River "as a winding, participatory sculptural piece. While flowing red ribbons of acrylic material mark the border of the river, underlaid mirror within a wooden framework provides the body. Marking its permanence, however temporarily, Siti ensures the documentation of its existence. At the same time, the artist uses reflective material to place the viewer within the context of the work, underlining the shifting and temporal nature of its subject."
