The 12th Edition of the Biennale of Contemporary African Art, Dak'art will be held from 8 May to 9 June 2016 in Dakar, Senegal.

The Theme of Dak'Art 2016 will be: "Contemporary African Art and Aesthetics of Translations"

Call for applications for Curators for Dak'Art 2016:

Open to all curators from Africa or the African Diaspora who already have curating experience, with a good knowledge of the international art scene in general, and the African in particular.

In addition to the own selection of artists (African or Non-African), the curator will be selecting artists who apply to the call for submission to participate in the Biennial, which is open to artists from Africa or the African Diaspora.

In order to apply, the candidates must submit:

- Dossier of 5 pages about the theme:
Contemporary African Art and Aesthetics of Translations
- Motivation letter
- CV
- Working plan and production calendar
