El Badi Palace

Constructed up from 1578 as the palace of Saadian Sultan Ahmad al-Mansur. Around 1700 it was stripped of its ornamentation to furnish the palace of Alaouite Sultan Moulay Ismail in the new capital of Meknes.


Dar Si Said Museum

Originally a mansion built by royal chamberlain Sidi Saýd in the 19th century. It's interconnecting courtyards and beautiful Andalusian style wooden ceilings now house the Museum of Moroccan Arts.


Bank Al Maghrib

The historic Bank Al Maghrib stands on the Djemaa el-Fna square. Once a pillar of the central bank of the Kingdom of Morocco the building now stands empty.


L'Blassa

Housed in an abandoned Art Deco building in the district of Gueliz, constructed in 1932 while Morocco was still a French protectorate.


Singing Maps, Underlying Melodies

The performative project invited visitors into the city and connected the different venues of the Biennale by introducing a variety of Moroccan music.
