Alserkal Avenue Gallery Zone

In the dusty industrial area of Al Quoz there is the city's highest concentration of art galleries, using the big spaces of empty warehouses for exhibitions and storage of art works.

The area of Alserkal Avenue contains of 39 warehouse spaces, half of which are art
galleries and creative studios.
On 21 March 2012, the expansion of Alserkal was announced in a press conference. The project will extend the spaces for galleries, studios, build an event center, two restaurants, a coffeeshop, parking spaces, etc until 2014.
