Weeds, 2016
Rokkaku-do is architecture that Okakura Tenshin (who established modern Japanese art with his companions) built for meditation in his last years. Inside the space, Suda Yoshihiro installed wooden sculptures with wild grass and flowers. This exhibition space resonates with the East Asian aesthetics that Tenshin wanted to bequeath through generations.
