A former cargo warehouse on the Bosphorus, transformed into a museum of contemporary art, opened to the public in 2004.


Galata Greek Primary School

Built between 1885 and 1909 in a Neo-classical style for the education of Greek children in Istanbul. Due to the decrease of the Greek population the school closed.


Beyoğlu - part 1

A district on the European side, separated from the old city by the Golden Horn. Most of the venues of the 14th Istanbul Biennial are located in Beyoğlu.


Beyoğlu - part 2

More venues in this district, mainly around the İstiklal street and the Bank street of Galata. One venue in the Old City, on the other side of the Golden Horn.


Büyükada, Princes' Islands

The largest of the nine so-called Princes' Islands in the Sea of Marmara, where seven venues of the 14th Istanbul Biennial are located. One more is Sivriada island.


This visual tour through the 14th Istanbul Biennial presents a selection of artworks and projects by 58 participants at 24 venues.
