Nacido en Tainan, Taiwán en 1982, Yu-Hsien SU es actualmente estudiante en el Graduate Institute of Plastic Arts de la Tainan National University of the Arts.
En 2007, recibió el Premio Kaohsiung y el Primer Premio de Arte de Taipei. En 2008, SU presentó una exposición individual Living in Detail en el Gwangju Museum of Art de Corea. Ha sido el curador de las exposiciones: Paradigm Shift-The Moment of Taiwan New Generation Arts ent 798 Art Zone en Beijing en 2007, CO Q-Young Taiwanese Artist from Nobody Collection en el Kuandu Museum of Fine Arts de la Taipei National University of the Arts en 2008, y Oopject un/intentional objects en Tina Keng Gallery en 2010.
