The artist about his work
My father always says: The sea has seven livelihoods, while the land has but one. I painted a large scroll across the east coast from Dibba to Khor Fakkan. Sometimes I paint the coast from the sea on a boat, sometimes I paint from the land. If the sea had seven livelihoods, I believe my livelihood always sneaks at night from the land where I live to the sea, and I captured it all on my scroll.
