"Is THAT your choice instead of my meals?" 2014Preview scene of Yokohama Triennale 2014, at Yokohama Museum of ArtEstablished 2012 in Osaka (Japan) Kama Gei (or “Kamagasaki free art university”) is based in Kamagasaki in Nishinari Ward, Osaka, which has a long history as a gathering place for day laborers, and today is home to many elderly former laborers. The organization’s goal is to offer lectures and workshops on various subjects, including philosophy, calligraphy, poetry, art and astronomy, to the broadest possible segment of society.
