Born in Tainan, Taiwan in 1982, Yu-Hsien SU is currently a student at the Graduate Institute of Plastic Arts at Tainan National University of the Arts.
In 2007, he was awarded the Kaohsiung Award and the first prize for the Taipei Arts Award. In 2008, SU had a solo exhibition entitled Living in Detail at Korea’s Gwangju Museum of Art. SU has also curated the exhibitions: Paradigm Shift-The Moment of Taiwan New Generation Arts at 798 Art Zone in Beijing in 2007, CO Q-Young Taiwanese Artist from Nobody Collection at the Kuandu Museum of Fine Arts of Taipei National University of the Arts in 2008, and Oopject un/intentional objects at Tina Keng Gallery in 2010.
