Dedicated to Countess Elisabeth of Thuringia (1207-1231), who was canonized by Pope Gregory IX in 1235 for her merciful commitment to the poor and sick.
The three stained glass windows were designed by the famous German artist Neo Rauch (* 1960 Leipzig), in which he takes up three aspects of the work of St. Elizabeth.
