Named after the educator, naturalist and writer Joaquín Antonio Uribe (1858-1935). Inaugurated in 1972, it spans over 14 hectares in the north of the city. After a process of renovation from 2005 to 2007, the Botanical Gardens became a center of culture and environmental and botanical education.
