Rodrigo Moura

Brazilian curator, editor and writer. Since 2004 he has been the curator of the Instituto Inhotim (Minas Gerais, Brazil), where he has been responsible for acquiring and commissioning works from artists like Ernesto Neto, Jorge Macchi, Rivane Neuenschwander and Claudia Andujar, among others.

He has written extensively about art and culture for Brazilian newspapers and the international art media. He was a contributor to ART NOW V. 3 (Taschen, Cologne), where he wrote about the works of ten artists.

As an independent curator, he has been responsible for exhibitions such as: Close to Me (Studio Guenzani, Milan, 2007); De Perto e de Longe (Liceu de Artes e Ofícios, São Paulo, 2008); Mauro Restife: Mirante (Casa de América, Madrid, in PhotoEspaña 2009); Primera y ultima: Notas sobre el monumento [First and Last: Notes on the Monument] (Galería Luisa Strina, São Paulo, 2010); Des(enho) (Casas Riegner, Bogotá, 2011) and Planos de Fuga [Blueprints for an Escape] (with Jochen Volz, CCBB-São Paulo, 2012), among others.
