Airport Cluster
UV silk screen print, 118 cm x 175 cm
Exhibited 7 February – 6. May 2001
While efficient communication is overrated in our global culture, art thrives in the uncanny space of a broken context, or the confusing space of overlapping realities. Lozano-Hemmer's "Cluster" depicts 35 overlapping airports, a chance meeting of urban nodes encountering each other for the first time.
