Ifa Funding Program for cooperation of German and foreign artists, curators, theoreticians, educators, architects and designers. Deadlines: 31 Jan. and 15 Aug. 2015.
May 2015The ifa Artists' Contact program promotes the international cooperation of German and foreign persons engaged in the cultural sector. Working stays as well as working tours from developing and emerging countries to Germany are supported if the realisation is in the interest of foreign cultural policy.
German artists can also receive subsidies for their travelling expenses while networking and seeking opportunities in developing and emerging countries.
Please note: The ifa cannot act as a negotiator while the project is still planned.

Travelling & subsistence expenses, awarded for:
- exhibitions
- performances
- artist-in-residence programmes
- workshops
- preparatory and research trips
- international symposia, conferences and lectures.
Application deadlines:
31 January (spring committee) for projects of the current year (only exhibitions not starting before June)
15 August (autumn committee) for projects of the following year
The post mark is valid. Applications must be complete and on due time to be admitted to the committee meetings, if submitted after the deadline they cannot be considered. Applications may be submitted in German or English.
