Vitrine, scientific objects
A telescope and a microscope are both instruments for making things that cannot be seen by the naked eye visible, from tiny things close up to large objects far away. Thanks to the modern comfort of technology, nature can be observed for scientific purposes. Science aims at gaining full knowledge of natural laws in hopes of finding humanly useful ways of using the information. Improved technology, however, does not always lead to improved solutions. Instead, it can often produce a second layer of problems.
