Femmes d'images (Women of Images), curated by Michket Krifa, is presented at the Museum of Tunis, Kheïreddine Palace, from 2 - 30 November 2007 in two chapters:
Fragments d’intimité, a show produced by Culturesfrance, brings together 10
women of images who live in the Arab world or have their roots there, and who deal with fragments of privacy in the form of imaginative narrations. Participating artists: Amel Saade, Farida Hamak, Jananne Al Ani, Majida Khattari, Rana El Nemr, Reem Al Faysal, Rula Halawani, Susan Hefuna, Mouna Karray, Patricia Triki
Espace privé, produced by the Institut Français de Coopération, presents works by 8 photographers and video artists from Tunesia, who experiment on these priviledged moments of privacy, complementing the perspectives of the other women from the region. Participating artists: Lilia Benzid, Meriem Bouderbala, Marianne Catzaras, Dora Dhouib, Faten Gaddes, Mouna Jemal, Nicène Kossentini, Dalel Tangour.
