Stainless steel sculptures modeled after Chinese scholars’ rocks.
The Izura coast is a site where Okakura Tenshin settled during the beginning of his later years. Along the coast, Tenshin designed and built Rokkakudo, a place for meditation. It is known that the art scholar chose this place as the fantastically-shaped rocks jutting out as a result of carbonate concretion, reminded him of Chinese garden.
