The Museum and Archaeological Park of Pumapungo (Door of the Puma) offers a tangible testimony of the Cañari and Inca cultures. Additionally to the Archaeological Park, encompassing several hectare, with remnants of the administrative, military, and religious center that used to be Pumapungo, the complex includes an ethno-botanical park, and a center that takes care of birds liberated from captivity and illegal traffic.
Museum: Collections of archaeology, ethnography, baroque art from the 18th century, landscapes and applied arts from the 19th century, modern painting from the first half of the 20th century.
