Along the short stretch of the Canal Grande between La Volta del Canal and the Accademia bridge, there are several important Palazzi and art venues.

Ca’ Foscari, one of the most magnificent Gothic buildings of Venice, and Ca’ Giustinian host the Ca' Foscari University, established in 1868. In our tour, we look also into the Auditorium Maximum, designed by the famous Venetian architect Carlo Scarpa in 1955-56.

The Baroque palace Ca' Rezzonico is home of the Museum of the 18th Century Venice, opened to the public in 1936. The artworks and objects are displayed as if they were the palace’s original furnishings, including pieces that belonged to other buildings in Venice.
