The vaulted and coffered ceiling (adorned with a pattern of recessed panels or lacunaria) is crowned by a central lantern that provides diffused lighting.
Hanging in the center of the room is a Roman replica of a late Hellenistic sculpture of the Abduction of Ganymede, relocated to its original position after the building's restoration.
