Designed by architect Tomaso Buzzi for Vittorio Cini in the late 1950s as a small dining-room with a table for eight, to showcase an 18th-century porcelain table service made by the Venetian manufacturers Cozzi between 1785 and 1795, consisting of as many as 275 pieces.
