The Collections Building used to house the Orientalist painting collection of His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan Al Qasimi, part of which has now been moved to the second floor of the Sharjah Art Museum on Arts Square.
Now the Sharjah Art Foundation coordinates the Collections Building as venue for temporary exhibitions, art events, and workshops.
