The 8 serpents covered with feathers, shells and perls represent the old deity of the water, waving through the mountains, similar to the Feathered Serpent in Teotihuacan. Among the undulations, a seated figure and a date are alternatively depicted. There are also places, animals and fragments of human figures in different postures. It is possible that the decoration of the temple was dedicated to the warrior's caste and that the presence of animals, like pumas and eagles referred to different ranks or groups.
