The upper part of the façade is divided in three structures. In the center is a tholos (round temple) with columns, and three figures. The central figure on the front side has been identified as an assimilation of the Egyptian goddess Isis, and Tyche, the Greek goddess of fortune and prosperity. The figures on both sides are Amazons.
The two vertical rows of slots located on on either side of the façade were used as foot holes for the sculptors, and as supports for scaffolding structures. They can be found in several monuments of Petra.
On the corners of the broken (open) pediment are eagles, symbols of the Nabatean main male deity, Dushara.
