The main figure of the facade in front of the round temple on the upper level is identified by this basileion as the goddess Isis (more about her on the image page). At the Khazneh the Isis emblem, a sun disk with cow horns on both sides, has been extended by ears of wheat, pomegranates, poppy capsules, tendrils and flowers. Isis appears as a blessing goddess who gives fertility to the earth and the seeds. (R. Wenning)
