This monumental tomb is probably the burial of the most influential family of the village. It was constructed in the year 110 AD in a purely Nabataean tradition immediately after the Roman annexation.
The upper part has a stepped base and the underground part consists of six shafts of five superposed graves in each one. Many of skeletons were found wrapped with goat leather. It remained in use till the years 360 AD.
