The hall with the original cross vaults originally served as a stable or storage room and was divided by partition walls. After the careful restoration and adaptation of the Beit Rusan to its new function as museum by Ammar Khammash, Thomas M. Weber set up this sculpture hall. The details and brief explanations of the individual sculptures on the photo pages are based on his seminal publication on Gadara.
