Qasr al-Azraq
The black basalt fort built by the Romans and used by Umayyads, Ayyubids, and Ottomans, was the headquarters of T. E. Lawrence and Sharif Hussein Bin Ali during the Arab Revolt.

Commissioned by the Royal Society for the Conservation of Nature (RSCN), the 1940's hospital from the British Mandate period, was renovated by architect Ammar Khammash to host tourists and visitors of Al-Azraq Wetland Reserve, and Qasr al-Azraq.
