Two floor house typical of the mixed use architecture built on commercial streets. It was constructed around 1881 - 1884 by master Abdel Rahman al Aqrouq for Daoud Abdul Rahman Touqan from Nablus. However the house is known for the name of the family that rented the bigger appartement for decades, the Abu Alouf family.
Ground floor with 5 shops and a main gateway opening on Hammam Street, four warehouses behind them connected to a cave. The upper floor has two appartements. varying in size accessed through a stairway from the main entrance.
