A block inscribed in Kufic, a form of early Arabic which was in use in the 7th century, that has a geometric pattern of triangular hatching the meaning of which is not known. The fact that there are only geometric designs could suggest iconoclastic influence. Several letters can be seen, but the only word that can be read is "Anahume", which means “God of all". The safaitic script was used by Arab tribesmen who were living in the desert in pre-islamic times.
