A wooden train car from the Hejaz Railway, that ran from Damascus to Medina, through the Hejaz region of Saudi Arabia. It was planned on behalf of the Ottoman Empire under the direction of the German engineer Heinrich August Meißner Pascha (1862-1940) and built between 1900 and 1908. The main line was 1320 km long, the network reached a total length of 1585 km. The regular operation of the Hejaz Railway lasted only seven years.
