Iron Age II (1000-539 BC)
Khirbat an-Nahas in Wadi Arabah
A pendant representing a man, with wire twisted into double spiral wings. He is in a kneeling position, which may indicate the status of reverence or praying.
Khirbat an-Nahas means "ruins of copper". It is one of five major Iron Age metallurgical sites that developed within the vicinity of Wadi Faynan.
