ARTBO, an initiative of Bogota's Chamber of Commerce (CCB), takes place since 2005 with the goal of promoting and positioning Bogota as a destination for culture and business, offering a commercial platform for art and the creative industries, as well as a space for cultural exchange, and audience development.

Over the course of its editions, ARTBO has grown to become the largest yearly platform for the promotion, visibility and internationalization of art practices in Colombia, and one of the most important fairs in the region. It is also the central axis of the "Month of Art" in Bogotá, a great variety of exhibitions and other art events that converge every year in October in Colombia's capital.

ARTBO takes place at Bogotá's fair ground Corferias. Besides the Main Section of featured galleries, selected by a Selection Committee, there are several curated exhibitions, a discussion forum, presentations of institutions and publications, and a rich and varied cultural and academic program.
