Wooden wall paneling with painting, reception room in Wakil House, created by order of the Christian merchant Isa ibn Butrus.
The oldest known and completely preserved wall paneling of this type. The Aleppo Room is not only to be seen as a work of art of outstanding quality, but also impressively documents a section of urban living culture and the relationships between different religious communities.
