The highlight of the Museo de Arqueología de Alta Montaña are the mummies of three children, sacrificed in the Inca period on the Llullaillaco volcano (6739 m), with over 100 burial offerings.

Burial objects from the tomb of the 7-year-old boy or assigned to him, including:
Anthropomorphic male figurines made of gold and the shell of spondylus with headdresses of feathers; figurines of llamas or other camelids made of gold and silver; "spare" sandals; necklace made of wool, human hair and spondylus shell (was more valuable to the Incas than gold, considered the "favorite food" of the huacas (local deities).
