Founded in 1935 in the town of Animaná, moved in 1943 to the city of Cafayate, the museum houses the collection gathered, classified and restored for more than 60 years by Professor Rodolfo I. Bravo, who conducted archaeological research in the Cafayate region. Since 1991, the museum, which has about 2,000 pieces, is maintained and managed by his widow, Helga H. Mazzoni and his son Maximiliano Bravo. Address: Calle Colón Nº 191, Cafayate.
