Former factory of the traditional "Bizcochos Canale” (biscuits) constructed in 1910 as the modern headquarters of the successful undertaking, founded in 1875 by the Genovese immigrant José Canale.
Currently several offices of the city government operate there, such as the Ministry of Modernization, of Public Space and Environment, and of Urban Development.
It also hosts the Espacio Lezama Arte, with three exhibition halls, one of them narrating the history of the former Canale factory.
