Between 1990 and 2020, the Casona Alsina housed the Museum dedicated to the work of Líbero Badii from the collection of the Fundación BBVA, until it was donated to the Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes.
The historical house was built in 1856 by the Suiss-Italian architect Pedro Petrochio as summer residence for Valentín Alsina, minister of the provicial government, in Belgrano neighborhood, a small town at that time.
