Independent curator, artist and educator. She earned her BFA Magna Cum Laude in Sculpture at the Escuela de Artes Plásticas de Puerto Rico (1999), Diploma of Advanced Studies in Drawing at the Universidad de Castilla-La Mancha (2004) and MFA in Artistic Production in the Universidad Politécnica de Valencia, Spain (2012).
Between 2000 and 2002, she worked as an assistant coordinator of the contemporary art projects M&M proyectos, PR'00 [Paréntesis en la “ciudad”] and PR'02 [En ruta], together with curator Michy Marxuach. Previously guest curator of Galería 356, =DESTO, Área: lugar de Proyecto and the independent platform La Nómada; she has also curated the exhibition Intervenciones / Convergencias: una mirada crítica a la producción temprana de Félix González-Torres (2010) at the Museo de Arte Contemporáneo de Puerto Rico.
As an artist, she has presented installations, videos, photography and performances in Puerto Rico, Spain, Dominican Republic, France, New York, Miami, among other places. She was part of the artistic residence Residence Internationale, Formation Réseau Européen at the Institut Supérieur des Beaux Arts in Besançon, France (2013). She is currently professor in the Escuela de Artes Plásticas de Puerto Rico and the Universidad de Puerto Rico, Rio Piedras Campus.
