Seiha Kurosawa

Seiha Kurosawa

Seiha Kurosawa is a curator and artist based in Tokyo. He currently works for Thailand Biennale, Korat 2021, as a co-curator.

Through his curatorial practice, Kurosawa researches relationships between contemporary art and new ecological concepts in which the fields of environment, society, and psychology intersect. In addition to producing exhibitions, he also works collaboratively with other artists. He aims to create a new sensual and poetic ambiance that allows the audience to grasp the emerging complex ecology through curatorial approaches, artistic practices, and texts.

His major curatorial practices include: ZERO IS INFINITY ─ ZERO and Yayoi Kusama (Yayoi Kusama Museum, Tokyo, 2020), World Art Tokyo Pangaea Tectonics – Diastrophism of Emerging Art / Diverging New Tales (Art Fair Tokyo 2018, Tokyo International Forum) and Clouds ⇆ Forests, 7th Moscow International Biennale of Contemporary Art, (The State Tretyakov Gallery, Moscow, 2017).

He also participated into several exhibition as an artist such as Desire: A Revision from the 20th Century to the Digital Age (Irish Museum of Modern Art, Dublin, Ireland, 2019) and Fukami – Une Plongée Dans l’Esthétique Japonaise, (Hôtel Salomon de Rothschild Métro, Paris, 2018).


Vipash Purichanont

Vipash Purichanont

Vipash Purichanont is a curator based in Bangkok. He is a lecturer at the department of Art History at the faculty of Archeology, Silpakorn University. His curatorial projects include Tawatchai Puntusawasdi: Superfold (Kuala Lumpur, 2019) and Concept Context Contestation: Art and the Collective in Southeast Asia (Bangkok, Yogyakarta, Hanoi, Yangon, 2013-2019) and Kamin Lertchaiprasert: 31st Century Museum of Contemporary Spirit (Chicago, 2011).

He was an assistant curator for the first Thailand Biennale (Krabi, 2018), a curator of Singapore Biennale 2019 (Singapore, 2019), and a co-curator of the second Thailand Biennale (Korat, 2021). He is a co-founder of Waiting You Curator Lab, a curatorial collective based in Chiangmai.


Tawatchai Somkong

Tawatchai Somkong

Since 2003, Tawatchai Somkong has been the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Fine Art Magazine. In 2010, he was the Editor-in-Chief of Taschen Thai version: Basic Art Series (12 titles), Phaidon Press Thai version: Art & Ideas (10 titles), Quintessence Editions Ltd. Thai version: 1001 Paintings You Must See Before You Die in 2015, and Phaidon Press Thai version: The Story of Art by G.H. Gombrich in 2017. Tawatchai has numerous curatorial experiences in both national and international art exhibitions. The most recent exhibition he curated is The Revolving World at Thai Pavilion, 58th Venice Biennale. In 2020, Tawatchai created and launched MATDOT Art Center in Bangkok.
