This part of the planet has been subject to one occupation after another for a long time. Hence, theoretically, we should gradually cope with the situation. Coping differs from coexistence as we try, year after year, to think of creative solutions to resist such an unreasonable presence over our land. Theoretically, coping changes our genes—but not to coexist, ever. Genetic change affects our immune system. Such was our genetic evolution and will continue to be. At the present, a negative genetic change is occurring to some, who we call the ‘Neo-Palestinians’, who lost through evolution their full immunity, which caused differences in their basic thinking and made creatures that resemble us only in looks.
Upon analysing their evolution, we must look at what lives around us. A plant grows out of seed number 29 as a case study, just like its other 32 friends. The coloniser failed to eliminate it from our land, because it is tenacious and its immunity makes it even more tenacious.
So far, my seed and its sisters have not undergone any negative change. They neither have renewed nor lost their immunities, but have grown rather haphazardly, surrounding the ‘Neo-Palestinians’, touching their bodies and stinging them if necessary.
Between the coloniser on one hand and the Neo-Palestinians on the other, seed number 29 always appears to play the disruptive role against both.
Now, we shall wait to see how the coloniser will genetically evolve, and whether the ‘Neo-Palestinians’ will come back from their vulgar transformation.
Seed number 29 will continue to watch, disrupt and bully if necessary.
